nonya curry

There are a few steps in this authentic recipe but the effort you put into it will make you very popular with your family and friends.  We daresay it will be one of your favourites for a celebration dinner.  Enjoy this delicious Nonya curry with rice or Roti Canai.

vegetarian version:

substitute the chicken in the recipe with a mixture of your favourite vegetables and tofu.

  • 2 pandan leaves
  • 250 g eschallots
  • 1.5 kg chicken thighs
  • 300 g baby potatoes
  • 20 g roasted Belachan (or 2 tablespoons fish sauce)
