RANGOLI SALAD

The colour and crunch of this salad is a great accompaniment to any Indian curry and rice meal. 

  • In a salad bowl mix together 300 grams shredded cabbage 2 large carrots peeled and julienned; 200 grams red cherry tomatoes, 200 grams yellow cherry tomatoes, 1 finely chopped red onion, 2 finely sliced green chillies.
  • Separately mix together 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 4 tablespoons peanut oil, 1 teaspoon caster sugar, 1 garlic clove crushed, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
  • Toss this dressing through the veggies before serving and garnish with 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
