Chillies are used extensively in Indian, Mexican and South American cuisines. It is also an essential part of the cuisines of Ethiopia, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan, Southwest China, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Other Uses

In India, chilli is strung with lime to ward off evil spirits and is used on vehicles and in homes. Red chillies contain a high amount of vitamin C and carotene. They are also a good source of B vitamins, potassium, magnesium and iron.
